Lee Companies served as Project Manager working closely with the Ownership and Management of T&B Tube on the renovation of a 200,000 SF existing industrial facility in Gary, Indiana including the design, demolition, and remodel of a 9600 SF office space and the installation of four tube mills and five high speed recut machines for this world class producer of welded steel tubing. Lee Companies coordinated the work of the Architect, Engineers, & Consultants; obtained State & Local Building Permits, competitively bid all trade work, managed the construction schedule to concurrently renovate the building and move all the equipment from the previous location in a sequence that allowed for uninterrupted production and expedited commissioning of all systems, coordinated all regulatory inspections, and performed all project accounting and administrative functions. T&B Tube, specializes in manufacturing cut to length steel tube for a variety of applications and customers that include point of purchase displays, outdoor products, tube fabricators, and various other OEMs.
